TAT Continues Support for WWF Thailand’s ‘Travel Ivory Free’ Campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has reaffirmed its continuous support for the World Wide Fund for Nature International or WWF Thailand’s ‘Travel Ivory Free’ campaign. Key players in the travel and tourism industry as well as international organisations have joined together to show their commitment to help spread awareness and promote a more sustainable travel culture.

TAT’s Strong Support for the Campaign

Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, emphasized TAT’s support for the campaign since its inception in 2018. Through their public relations efforts, TAT urges tourists to be a part of the awareness-raising initiative. WWF Thailand initiated the ‘Travel Ivory Free’ campaign after China banned its domestic ivory trade in December 2017.
