AWS has announced the inauguration of its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore following its July 2024 revelation of a US$9 billion investment in the nation’s cloud computing infrastructure. This move underscores AWS’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region and bolsters Singapore’s status as a leading global data hub. The establishment of this headquarters signifies a strategic deepening of AWS’s regional presence, emphasizing a long-term focus on innovation and technological advancement.

The new headquarters will include AWS’s first flagship executive briefing center in Asia.
