CP Foods Sees 467% Profit Surge in 2024, Exceeding THB 19 Billion, Boosted by Global Operations. The company credits this growth to increased efficiency, diversified product offerings, and rising demand across key international markets. Analysts highlight CP Foods’ focus on sustainability and innovation as pivotal factors contributing to its impressive financial performance.

Key Takeways

  • CP Foods significantly exceeded its 2024 net profit expectations, driven by balanced livestock operations and cost management improvements. The company plans to sustain robust performance in 2025, emphasizing “Sustainovation” initiatives. CP Foods ranked in the top 1% for sustainability in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) score.
  • CEO Prasit Boondoungprasert reported CP Foods’ 2024 performance, with total sales of THB 580,747 million and a net profit increase of 476% from its previous loss. Overseas operations contributed 63% of sales, and revenues primarily came from farming operations (55%), animal feed (23%), and food products (22%).
  • Successful adjustments in supply and demand led to improved results in overseas operations, notably in Vietnam. CP Foods enhanced efficiency through restructuring and cost management, leading to better overall performance. The company is preparing for potential challenges while optimizing assets and pursuing innovations for future growth.

Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) reported outstanding financial results for 2024, achieving a net profit of THB 19,558 million and total sales of THB 580,747 million, reflecting a 476% increase from a net loss in 2023. CP Foods’ continued focus on sustainable growth and “Sustainovation” has earned them a ranking in the top 1% of companies in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment. Looking towards 2025, the company plans to maintain its growth by optimizing asset use and cost management. A total dividend of THB 1.00 per share for 2024 has been proposed, subject to shareholder approval in April 2025.
