  • 1,322,537 employees across ten Southeast Asian countries were surveyed.
  • 40 of the 100 companies on the list are certified in Thailand, including 8 of the top 10.
  • McThai Co., Ltd., the operator of McDonald’s in Thailand, debuts at #11, the second-highest new entry on the list.

BANGKOK, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Forty companies certified in Thailand have been named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For™ Southeast Asia 2026 list, released today by Fortune and Great Place To Work®.

Now in its second year, the Southeast Asia list builds on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, which has drawn on Great Place To Work’s workplace research in the U.S. since 1998. The 2026 Southeast Asia ranking is informed by confidential survey responses from 1,322,537 employees across ten countries, 141,019 of which came from Thailand.

McThai Co., Ltd. leads Thailand’s homegrown representation, entering the ranking at #11 to become the highest-ranked Thai company on the list. Central Retail Corporation (#99) also returns. McThai opened Thailand’s first McDonald’s at Amarin Plaza in Bangkok in February 1985 and now operates more than 200 restaurants nationwide.

Thailand’s wider contingent reflects the strength of its service and consumer economy. Eight of the list’s top ten companies are certified in Thailand, among them Hilton (#2), Marriott International (#3) and Capella Hotels and Resorts (#5). In financial services, UOB (#39), American Express (#48) and Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance (#62) make the list, and manufacturers Bosch (#79) and DISCO Corporation (#60) represent Thailand’s industrial base.

Evelyn Kwek, Managing Director, Great Place To Work® Southeast Asia and ANZ, said:

“Thailand’s economy runs on service, from retail and hospitality to the restaurants that feed its cities, and delivering a superior customer experience depends on a workplace culture that enables frontline teams to perform at their best. For businesses with large frontline workforces, the challenge is to scale their culture across every location, sustaining a consistently strong customer experience and business performance as the company expands. McThai’s debut just outside the top ten, built on the experience of restaurant teams across Thailand, shows that a culture built here can compete with the best in the region, at scale.”
