technology, renewable energy, healthcare, banking, and real estate sectors.
 * Hanoi has emerged as a top-tier investment destination, attracting substantial
foreign investment, especially in high-tech ventures.
 * Vietnam’s appeal for foreign investors is strengthened by its strategic location,

The country experienced a surge in FDI in January and February of 2024, with an
influx of over US$4.29 billion, marking a significant increase of 38.6 percent compared
to the previous year. Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and mainland China were among

## Hanoi as an Investment Destination

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, has solidified its position as a top-tier investment
destination, attracting substantial foreign investment in the early months of 2024.

The city’s allure is further bolstered by its reputation as a welcoming environment
for high-tech ventures, with investments in high technology sectors. Situated in
Southeast Asia and along key shipping routes, Vietnam serves as a strategic hub
for manufacturing and trade, offering access to lucrative markets like China.

With a growing economy, stable government, ease of doing business, strong FDI environment,
and a network of FTAs, Vietnam presents abundant opportunities for FDI in 2024,
particularly in high-tech sectors, guided by government policies and long-term incentive
programs prioritizing regional administrative reform and fostering PPPs.
