On 21 July 2025, Mr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand(
BOT), chaired the 30th Executives’ Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks (EMEAP)
Governors’ Meeting. The meeting brought together governors from 11 member central
banks in the region: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea,
Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.

Discussions focused on several critical topics, including the impact of geopolitical
tensions on regional trade and capital flows, as well as the evolving dynamics of
