Thailand showcases Innovative agricultural products
The Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation has developed some 700 new products, and is ready to join forces with major retailers to sell them to customers.
BANGKOK (NNT) – The Department of Foreign Trade has been promoting innovative agricultural products development through the Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation.
Now, with some 700 new products developed, the institute is ready to join hands with major retailers to sell these products to customers.
Some 60 innovative agricultural products, including foods and non-food health and beauty products, have been selected by the Agricultural Product Innovation (APi) from 16 manufacturers and are now featured at APi Festival at Big C event at Big C Ratchadamri shopping center in Bangkok to expand marketing opportunities for these products at modern shopping centers, and raising the awareness of these products among Thai people and tourists.

A similar event is also being held at Big C Ratchada shopping center from now until 13 June.
The Department of Foreign Trade Director General Adul Chotinisakorn revealed the department is planned to hold similar events in June and July at Central Festival shopping centers in tourism provinces, namely Chonburi, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, to introduce innovative agricultural products to international customers, showing the quality and standard of Thai innovative farm products on par with those imported from foreign countries, and can meet the needs of modern lifestyle well.
