## Thailand to Host 2026 IMF and World Bank Meetings

Thailand has been chosen as the host country for the 2026 annual meetings of the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. This will be the second time
Thailand has hosted these major global financial conferences, with the first time
being in 1991. The event is expected to bring in over 12,000 participants, including
global financial leaders from 190 countries.
