Covid-19 : Thailand reaches 20 days without domestic case

Thailand has declared one new case of Covid-19 in state quarantine over a 24-hour period, the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said on Sunday (June 14).

Thailand has reached 20 consecutive days without a domestic case as today’s news case was a returnee from the US tested positive in state quarantine.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration said the new case was a 35-year-old Thai female student who returned to the country from the United States last Monday.

As of June 14, the total number of confirmed cases in the country stood at 3,135 (2,444 domestic cases and 198 imported), 90 of whom are under treatment, 2,987 have recovered and been discharged, and there have been 58 fatalities.
