New ‘Meaningful Relationship’ Communication Concept Launched at World Travel Market
The Thailand Stand at the WTM 2023 introduced the new ‘Meaningful Relationship’ communication concept, as well as initiatives to promote sustainable tourism goals. Princess Ubolratana visited the stand and participated in a workshop on turning discarded fishing nets into bags. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Sports and TAT officials.
Emphasizing Meaningful Relationships and Sustainable Tourism
The Thailand Stand at the WTM 2023 focused on strengthening meaningful relationships between Thailand, the Thai people, and tourists from around the world, while also highlighting the kingdom’s commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism. The stand was decorated with reused materials and showcased sustainable tourism initiatives, including a keychain DIY workshop made from waste plastic bottle caps.
Prominent Presentation of ‘Meaningful Relationship’ Communication Concept
The presentation of the ‘Meaningful Relationship’ communication concept was also prominently displayed through a London Bus wrapping, which offered free hop on-hop off services to tourists in London. Additionally, tourists were given discounts at select Thai restaurants and the opportunity to receive free Thai elephant pants by sharing pictures of the bus on social media.
