Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is promoting Time 2019 as a platform for staging meetings, incentive travel, conventions and exhibitions (MICE), to reach groups of ASEAN + 6 travelers. It is expected to generate revenue of 152 million baht.
TCEB and six major organizations from the transportation business sector, such as Thai Airways and BMW THAILAND are presenting Time 2019 from June 10-15, 2019, at the Conrad Bangkok, on the concept of togetherness.
TCEB Director Chirut Isarangkun Na Ayudhya disclosed this week that the event will provide opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to enter business negotiations and open up creative new marketing perspectives through MICE travelers.
This year, TCEB has focused on penetrating ASEAN + 6 markets such as China, Japan, Korea, India, Australia and New Zealand.
It is expected that the number of MICE visitors will increase by more than two thousand people, generating 152 million baht in revenue.
He has expressed his confidence that the TCEB will increase the number of MICE travelers to 1.32 million, generating revenue of 100-500 million baht by 2019, one of the main sources of income driving the country’s economy.
The event features a forum for an exchange of ideas between MICE entrepreneurs as sellers and target buyers, and business negotiations with buyers of the ASEAN + 6 target group.
The forum will create experiences for buyers in Phuket and Phang Nga where they can experience the lifestyle of fishing communities in the South.
