At the end of December 2023, the SET Index closed at 1,415.85 points, an increase
of 6% from the previous month but a decrease of 15.2% compared to the end of the
previous year.

 * In December 2023, industries that performed better than the SET Index compared
   to the end of 2022 include technology, finance, agriculture and food, and consumer
   product groups.
 * The average daily trading value on the SET and mai in December 2023 was 39,980
   million baht, a decrease of 28.8% from the same period the previous year, with
   the average daily trading value in 2023 at 53,331 million baht.
 * Foreign investors returned to net buying for the first time in ten consecutive
   months, with a net purchase of 70 million baht in December 2023.
 * Foreign investors’ net sales totaled 192,083 million baht in 2023, with foreign
   investors having the highest proportion of trading value for 20 consecutive months.
 * In December 2023, there were 2 new securities registered for trading on the SET,
   including Asia Network Integration (ANI) and SCGD, and 1 new security on mai,
   MGI.
 * In 2023, the Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) had an average daily trading volume
   of 532,886 contracts, a decrease of 5.8% from the previous year. This decrease
   was mainly due to the decline in Single Stock Futures trading volume, while the
   average daily trading volume of SET50 Index Futures increased from the previous
   year.
