## Bangkok Tops Gen Z Rankings

Bangkok has been named the world’s best city for Gen Z, according to Time Out’s 
inaugural global ranking focused on those under 30. With a City Score of 66%, Bangkok
surpassed major global cities. The ranking was revealed on August 18, 2025, and 
forms part of Time Out’s annual survey, which considered responses from over 18,000
individuals, highlighting Gen Z’s preferences.

## Attractive Features for Gen Z

Praised for happiness, affordability, and community, Bangkok was favored by 84% 
of its Gen Z residents. Seventy-one percent found it affordable, a critical factor
amid rising global costs. The city is also celebrated for its social atmosphere,
helping young people easily form new friendships, reinforcing its sociable reputation.
