Suphajee was joined by Tourism and Sports Minister Surasak Phancharoenworakul, Deputy
Transport Ministers Siripong Angkasakulkiat and Phattrapong Phattraprasitt, and 
Weerasak Kowsurat, chairman of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Advisory Board. Officials
reviewed immigration and passenger handling, including plans to improve automated
passport gates, adjust staffing during peak periods, and share flight and passenger
data in real time.

Tourist police will increase oversight at baggage claim areas, conduct joint patrols,
and monitor tour groups, transportation services, illegal guides, and unauthorized
solicitation. Authorities also plan to use CCTV and an intelligent command center
to improve security and response times.
