The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is hosting the 7th One Belt One Road Colourful Yunnan Car Rally, a vibrant 18-day adventure celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China in 2025. Participants will explore well-known and hidden destinations, highlighting the strong bond between these two nations.
TAT’s East Asia Director, Mr. Chuwit Sirivachkul, emphasized that this event not only promotes lesser-known tourist spots but also showcases Thailand’s stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage, benefiting local economies and enhancing tourism infrastructure.
The rally has brought 120 participants and 45 vehicles from China, embarking on a journey through various provinces. A warm welcome event in Nakhon Ratchasima featured a traditional Bai Sri Su Kwan ceremony, enriching participants’ experience with Thailand’s cultural diversity. The successful event further emphasizes Thailand as a preferred destination for Chinese travelers.
