Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra presented her government’s policy agenda
to parliament on September 12, which prominently features a plan to distribute 450
billion baht (US$13.4 billion) in handouts to revitalize the country’s economy. 
Her cabinet was recently sworn in after the court’s ruling led to the removal of
her predecessor.
