This year’s list has the most change in its line-up so far, with 39 of 100 companies appearing for the first time. Golden Arches Development (McDonald’s Philippines) debuted at No. 7, and fellow McDonald’s operator McThai entered at No. 11. In total, 16 first-time entrants placed in the top 50, including FedEx (No. 24), Sunway Group( No. 26), VitaDairy Vietnam (No. 27), FWD Vietnam Life Insurance (No. 28), JustCo( No. 30), Booking Holdings (No. 37) and United Overseas Bank (No. 39). The new entrants range from global multinationals such as American Express, MSD, Abbott, Cargill, Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health to fast-growing regional companies such as VNG, F88 and Van Lang University.
