Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Thailand
HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia

The 2026 awards, organised by Business Media International are underpinned by the
comprehensive Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) survey, which polled 11,305
employees across 323 participating organizations to gauge their workplace sentiment.
The data reveals a rapidly evolving Thai HR landscape defined by a stark contrast
between thriving ground-level camaraderie and the pressing challenges of structural
burnout.

**Navigating Current HR Trends in Thailand**

The Thai corporate sector is currently experiencing a unique dichotomy. According
to the 2026 TEAM survey insights, the most significant strength across organizations
is peer-to-peer support, with a record-high score of 4.65 (out of 5) for employees
willingly assisting colleagues. Furthermore, employees are finding profound meaning
in their roles (4.52) and highly rate their companies’ commitments to Environmental,
Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives (4.50), as well as robust skill development
policies (4.50).

However, the broader HR landscape in Thailand is grappling with signs of systemic
fatigue. Top-down rigidity and workload pressures remain significant hurdles. Survey
metrics indicate that employees often feel excluded from structural decision-making(
scoring a survey-low 3.93) and are experiencing low energy levels and exhaustion
at work (3.94). There is also a clear demand for greater workplace flexibility over
rigid processes (4.07).

The winners of 2026 have successfully navigated these exact challenges. They have
managed to bridge the gap between executive policy-making and ground-level employee
involvement, fostering environments that not only encourage upskilling but actively
work to mitigate burnout through empathetic leadership, purpose-driven cultures,
and peer collaboration.

**The Strategic Advantage of the HR Asia Award**

In a Thai labor market where top talent increasingly prioritizes mental well-being,
flexibility, and corporate ethics over traditional compensation alone, winning the
HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia award provides a critical competitive
advantage.

For the winning companies, this recognition serves as validated, data-backed proof
of their employer brand strength. It establishes them as organizations that do not
merely pay lip service to employee engagement, but actively cultivate a supportive,
inclusive (4.42), and sustainable (4.48) workplace.

This verifiable distinction significantly enhances their ability to attract premium
talent, improve employee retention, and maintain a highly motivated workforce capable
of driving long-term business success. By proving their commitment to ESG, upskilling,
and meaningful work, these companies are well-positioned to mitigate the industry-
wide risks of burnout and turnover.

As the Thai workforce continues to demand more holistic support and structural flexibility,
the 2026 winners stand as a testament to the power of putting people first. They
have proven that empowering employees and fostering peer support are not just HR
buzzwords, but essential pillars of a modern, resilient business strategy.

"This year’s data highlights a critical turning point for the Thai HR landscape,"
said Datuk William Ng, Chairman, HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia. "While
it is inspiring to see such strong peer-to-peer collaboration and alignment with
corporate purpose, the underlying signs of employee exhaustion cannot be ignored.
The winning companies this year have set themselves apart not just by recognizing
this dichotomy, but by actively implementing empathetic, flexible structures that
empower their people and bridge the gap between leadership and the ground-level
workforce."

The 2026 winners serve as a blueprint for business adaptability, proving that an
organization’s most valuable asset remains its people. By investing in continuous
upskilling, flexible working arrangements, and inclusive, purpose-driven work environments,
these companies not only secure the talent necessary to sustain Thailand’s economic
momentum but also set the standard for corporate excellence across the region.

The award covers several markets across the region including mainland China, Cambodia,
Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore,
Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, making this the largest recognition
program and survey in the region for employee engagement. For more information about
