Following the health screenings and educational sessions, each of the 35 pregnant women received a package of supplementary food assistance comprising a box of milk, 1 kilogram of mung beans and a tray of eggs. The assistance aims to help meet their nutritional needs during pregnancy while supporting ongoing stunting prevention efforts in collaboration with local government authorities and health care professionals. Sungai Sembilan Subdistrict Secretary M. Dino Lubis highlighted the importance of addressing stunting from the earliest stages of pregnancy, stressing the need for sustained collaboration among government agencies, businesses, health care providers and local communities. “The Dumai city administration, particularly in Sungai Sembilan, continues to strengthen efforts to prevent and reduce stunting.
