Participants can earn up to $1,000 upfront and $600 a year for making stored power
available during high-demand periods, while lowering bills for all customers

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — [FranklinWH Energy Storage Inc.](http://www.franklinwh.com/)
today announced that homeowners with a FranklinWH System can enroll in [Entergy Solutions,](https://www.entergylouisiana.com/energyefficiency)
a new residential battery incentive program from [Entergy Louisiana](http://www.entergylouisiana.com/)
that compensates customers for making stored energy available during periods of
high electricity demand.

Under the program, Louisiana homeowners who install a new FranklinWH System and
enroll in the program within one year of purchase will receive $75 for every kilowatt-
hour of installed battery storage, up to $1,000. Both new and existing FranklinWH
Systems enrolled in the program will also earn $125 for every average kilowatt discharged
during program events, up to $600 per year. Solar panels are not required to participate.

During high electricity demand periods, Entergy calls on participating systems to
discharge stored energy to the grid. The system can provide approximately 80 percent
of an enrolled [aPower](https://www.franklinwh.com/homeowner-incentives/entergy-new-orleans-vpp-program/)
battery’s available stored energy during an event. Dispatches are managed automatically
through the FranklinWH App, so homeowners do not need to do anything when their
systems are called upon.

Entergy Louisiana will not draw customers’ battery storage if a severe storm is
forecast, so customers have full battery storage for backup power if needed. "We
designed the FranklinWH System to give homeowners confidence during an outage, and
Entergy Solutions extends that value in a new direction. Homeowners can now be compensated
for helping meet overall demand while keeping the reserve power they count on,"
said FranklinWH global CEO, Ke Bi. "That is a meaningful evolution in the role of
residential energy storage."

Entergy projects that its virtual power plant (VPP) programs will provide 155 megawatts
of dispatchable capacity by 2030. The utility says that capacity reduces its need
for costlier new utility-scale generation, which in turn lowers bills for all customers.

Entergy Solutions adds to FranklinWH’s participation in utility-led VPP and demand-
response programs across the United States. FranklinWH batteries are enrolled in
more than 30 VPP programs nationwide, letting homeowners earn incentives for making
stored energy available to support the grid.
