**Colpofix****^(®)****, a vaginal spray gel medical device, supports the regression
of HPV-related cervical lesions**

SINGAPORE, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Women in Singapore now have another option
to support their cervical health following Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection,
with DKSH’s launch of Colpofix^(®). The vaginal spray gel medical device is indicated
for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions caused by HPV.^(4)

HPV is one of the most common viral infections worldwide, with one in 10 women in
Singapore affected by the infection.^(1) A ‘wait and see’ approach is adopted as
most cases clear naturally within one to two years, but when HPV persists, it can
lead to cervical cell changes that require medical follow-up and monitoring.^(2)
For many women, a ‘wait and see’ approach can mean living with uncertainty between
appointments, unsure what the result means and what happens next and this period
can feel like a long wait. Research shows that an abnormal result can also increase
psychological stress.^(3) Women deserve healthcare solutions developed with their
needs and experiences in mind.

Colpofix^(®) gives healthcare professionals and women an additional option during
this stage. It acts locally on the cervico-vaginal mucosa and helps control the
physiological conditions of the transformation zone.

Clinical studies have reported positive results in the regression of low-grade cervical
lesions, restoration and maintenance of the vaginal microbiota, and re-epithelialisation
of the cervical mucosa, contributing to an improvement in HPV clearance.^(5, 6,
7, 8) In one study, Colpofix^(®) demonstrated 95.7% regression of HPV-CIN1 lesions.
^(8)

Once applied, the medical device sprays a gel that forms a protective film over
the cervico-vaginal mucosa. It supports hydration to promote re-epithelialisation
and the regression of cervical lesions. It also helps restore and maintain the vaginal
microbiota. An ergonomic cannula allows the gel to be applied accurately and distributed
evenly without spilling.

"At the heart of DKSH Healthcare’s value proposition is a strong focus on patient
centricity. We are committed to advancing women’s health by ensuring access to effective,
science-based solutions that address critical health needs. Bringing Colpofix® to
Singapore is part of that commitment, giving women and their healthcare professionals
an option to consider together," said Reuben Ong, Vice President, DKSH Singapore.

"Our goal is to provide healthcare solutions that address not only clinical needs
but also the emotional well-being of women navigating cervical health concerns.
Colpofix^(®) brings an evidence-based approach to supporting women with HPV-related
cervical lesions. said Lionel Tan, Cluster Lead, Own Brands.

Now available in Singapore by prescription, individuals who are interested to find
out more about Colpofix^(®) should consult a healthcare professional for advice
on whether the product is appropriate for them.
