When a Danobatgroup team first came to the park in early 2024, it did not make a decision immediately. But after the park’s investment promotion team introduced the industrial map, Danobatgroup’s China head spotted many global supply-chain partners, some of whom were old friends from Europe. Later, executives from Danobatgroup’s Spanish headquarters visited Shanghai for field studies, meetings with supply-chain partners and in-depth discussions with municipal and district leaders. After learning about Shanghai’s high-end equipment industry planning and Minhang’s machine tool development plans, Danobatgroup and eight other entities, including TOPNC, jointly initiated an alliance in January 2025 to foster coordination and innovation in Shanghai’s machine tool industry.
