## Impact on the Chinese Diving Market

Mr. Boonrapee Damrongrat, TAT Director, emphasized that China’s diving community
presents an opportunity for Thailand to solidify its position as a premier dive
destination. As Chinese divers increasingly combine diving with travel, staying
8-10 days and spending significantly, the initiative aligns with growing interests.
With activities like mermaid diving gaining popularity, Thailand’s commitment to
sustainable tourism is highlighted, linking cultural experiences and marine conservation.
