The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has introduced 5 new DRx securities, referencing leading lifestyle stocks from the United States, including “AMZN80X” referencing Amazon stock, “BKNG80X” referencing Booking Holdings stock, “META80X” referencing Meta stock, “NFLX80X” referencing Netflix stock, and “SBUX80X” referencing Starbucks stock.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand has registered 5 new securities for DRx, referencing stocks in the Nasdaq Stock Market of the United States.
These include “AMZN80X” referencing Amazon, a leading technology and e-commerce company specializing in cloud computing and AI; “BKNG80X” referencing Booking Holdings, an online platform for booking accommodations, flights, car rentals, and global restaurants; “META80X” referencing Meta, a social media platform including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp; “NFLX80X” referencing Netflix, a provider of streaming entertainment and popular content producer; and “SBUX80X” referencing Starbucks, a distributor of coffee, food, and beverages with over 30,000 branches in more than 80 countries worldwide.
These 5 new DRx securities are issued by Kasikorn Bank and will be traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand starting from February 7, 2024.
DRx is a type of Depositary Receipt that represents rights to foreign securities and is traded on the stock exchange. Investors have the opportunity to receive benefits similar to holding foreign securities.
