The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will list depositary receipt (DR) for Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SINGTEL), a leading telecommunications company in Singapore and ASEAN, under the ticker symbol “SINGTEL80”.
The DR, issued by Krungthai Bank pcl (KTB) as part of the DR cooperation between SET and Singapore Exchange (SGX Group) under “Thailand-Singapore DR Linkage”, will debut on SET on April 1.
DR is an investment instrument that provides investors with the benefits of the underlying foreign securities. Investors can seek opportunity for global return by trading DR in Thai baht via the existing securities accounts.
