energy transition, ESG dimensions, and sustainable business development.**

## Driving Organizational Sustainability and Energy Transition

PTT has been committed to achieving the nation’s energy security for over 45 years.
Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President & Chief Executive Officer of PTT Public Company
Limited, announced on December 9, 2023, that PTT has been selected for the 12th 
consecutive year as a member of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 2023 in 
both the World Index and Emerging Markets Index. This recognition reflects PTT’s
effective management in all dimensions and pride in investor confidence, especially
as 1 of the top 5 industry leaders in Oil & Gas Upstream & Integrated (OGX) business.

## Strategic Sustainability Direction

PTT’s sustainability strategic direction focuses on a “Sustainability Management
Master Plan” with three ESG dimensions: environmental, social, and governance. The
company aims for business development towards a low-carbon society, increasing investment
in Renewable Energy and EV Value Chain, as well as entering joint ventures to support
logistics business and expanding domestic and international transport connectivity.
PTT also initiated a reforestation project to plant 1 million rai of land to achieve
Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

Notably, all PTT Group companies, including PTT Exploration and Production Public
Company Limited, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, and others, have passed the DJSI
membership criteria. The DJSI world index evaluates the operational effectiveness
and sustainability performance of leading global companies, building confidence 
in domestic and international investment.
