Event Inauguration
The “Amazing Krabi Green Guide Fest 2025” kicked off and runs until 18 May at Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. Mr. Ampol Silathevakul, Governor of Krabi, led the opening, joined by Mr. Akkarawit Thepasit, Director of Tourism Investment Promotion at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
Promoting Green Tourism
Co-hosted by TAT, Krabi Province, and various partners, the festival highlights eco-friendly tourism with the theme “Green Vibes.” It aims to position Krabi as a leader in sustainable travel, engaging tourists in creating a more sustainable tourism landscape. The event expects over 5,000 visitors, targeting local revenue generation of at least 35 million Baht.
Sustainable Initiatives
As part of the Krabi Prototype initiative, the festival aligns with Thailand’s sustainability goals. It’s a carbon-neutral event featuring activities like eco-art installations, yoga sessions, and plant-based cuisine, promoting the “7 Greens” concept.
