Air France will launch a new flight route from Paris CDG to Phuket, Thailand, starting on November 27, 2025. This will be the airline’s second destination in Thailand, complementing its existing Bangkok service. The flights will operate three times weekly using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

One of the most popular destinations in Asia, the island of Phuket in the south of Thailand is to benefit from non-stop flights to Paris for the first time. Air France has just revealed that it will be launching 3 weekly frequencies to Phuket on 27 November.

With this new route, Air France continues to meet the growing demand for travel to Asia. In winter 2025-2026, Air France will serve 11 destinations in this region: Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Manila, Osaka-Kansai, Beijing, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai-Pudong, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda and Phuket.

French nationals traveling to Thailand will need a passport valid for at least six months from their entry date. Starting May 1, 2025, all foreign travelers must complete the Thai Digital Arrival Card online before entering the country. French visitors can enjoy a visa-free stay of up to 60 days, a policy updated in July 2024 from the previous 30-day limit.

Phuket, the largest island in Thailand, is renowned for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and cultural heritage. Among its popular attractions are Patong Beach, the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong Temple, and the nearby Phi Phi and Similan Islands, which are accessible through day excursions.

Thailand is targeting 40 million tourists in 2025, up from 35.5 million in 2024. The dry season from November to April is the best time to visit Phuket, offering calm seas and favorable weather. The monsoon season, from May to October, brings frequent rains, lower prices, and limited availability for water-based activities.
