Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is offering special fares for employees of flood-affected industries who need to travel to Vietnam and Japan, in order to revive the industrial sector.

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is offering special fares for employees of flood-affected industries who need to travel to Vietnam and Japan, in order to revive the industrial sector.
Mr. Pandit Chanapai, THAI Executive Vice President of Commercial, said that as the flood in Thailand has highly impacted factories in many industrial centers in Ayuthaya and Pathumthani provinces, THAI is supporting the Government and especially the Ministry of Labor responsible for sending workers overseas and the Ministry of Industry to revive industries in Thailand. THAI is offering special fares in economy class to employees whose industries have been affected by the flood, as these industries need to send their employees to work in Vietnam and Japan during this period on tasks previously conducted in Thailand. THAI’s special fares are as follows:
1. Bangkok-Japan-Bangkok, fares beginning at THB 24,500
Ticket validity for 3 to maximum 6 months
2. Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh City-Bangkok, fares beginning at THB 8,550
Ticket validity for 3 months to maximum 6 months
3. Bangkok-Hanoi-Bangkok, fares beginning at THB 8,550
Ticket validity for 3 months to maximum 6 months
Reservations and ticket issuance may be made from today through to 15 January 2012, prices include airport tax and all surcharges. However, prices may fluctuate based on currency exchange rate on the day of ticket issuance.
