普吉岛获2024 IFEA“世界节庆与活动城市”称号，并在美国匹兹堡年会中赢得八项大奖。

Phuket Awarded Prestigious Title

Bangkok, October 3, 2024 – Phuket has been honored as the "2024 IFEA World Festival and Event City" by the International Festivals & Events Association, becoming the third Thai city to receive this accolade after Chiang Mai and Sukhothai. The award ceremony took place during the IFEA Annual Convention in Pittsburgh, USA, on September 29, 2024.

Additional Honors for Thailand

During the event, Thailand also won eight IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards. Notable achievements include the Grand Pinnacle silver for the Phuket Vegetarian Festival and golds for parades and children’s programming. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has played a crucial role in securing these accolades by nominating cities for IFEA awards, with past successes in Chiang Mai and Sukhothai.
