SET warns investors to be careful in trading SCBB’s securities

SCB X Public Company Limited (SCB) has made a tender offer for the securities of the Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited (SCBB) for corporate shareholding restructuring, at a swap ratio of 1 common shares or preferred shares of SCBB for 1 common shares of SCB.

The tender offer period was during March 2, 2022 – April 18, 2022 which was already completed. Currently, SCB is during the process of listing SCB’s securities on the Exchange in place of SCBB’s securities.

Therefore, SET recommends the investors to be careful in trading SCBB’s securities during this period since SCBB’s securities will not have secondary market for trading after SCB’s securities will be the listing securities on the Exchange in place of SCBB’s securities.
