Swiss entrepreneur Roland Steiner explains how he created a personalised piece of paradise on the Thai islandIt is the height of the monsoon season and a cluster of dark clouds hangs menacingly over the island of Koh Chang in Thailand.

The poor weather has kept the usually steady stream of tourists at bay on this particular weekend and the beach at Klong Son Bay is deserted apart from two girls collecting shells near the shoreline.
