Bangkok, 4 September 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is marking its presence at the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2025 (ITE HCMC 2025) from 4-6 September. Showcasing “The New Thailand” vision, TAT aims to bolster tourism growth and regional connections across ASEAN. Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, emphasized Thailand’s commitment to enhancing ASEAN tourism through collaboration and innovative cultural experiences.

Innovative Contributions and Exhibitions

Ms. Thapanee participated in discussions on embracing digital and green transformation. At the Thailand Pavilion, six Thai tourism businesses, including Chiang Mai Night Safari and SAii Hotels & Resorts, are presenting diverse offerings. Visitors can explore Thai cultural heritage through fabric demonstrations and traditional costume experiences, highlighting the nation’s active role in regional tourism dialogue.

Expanding air connectivity, including new routes like Bangkok–Hai Phong, bolsters tourism, expecting 900,000 Vietnamese arrivals by 2026.
